The place
A quiet stretch of the Adriatic below the Velebit ridge — a fishing village, a channel, and the mountain at your back.
Cesarica sits between Karlobag and the Paklenica gorge, across the channel from the island of Pag. It is the kind of coast that empties out at night — a few konobas, rocks to swim from, and the ferry lights going over to the island.
